About
I’m Eleonora Di Massimo, an Italian girl who’s actually attending a Foundation Diploma at Farnham UCA and whose biggest dream is to become an animator and work for major film companies like Disney or DreamWorks.
This is the first time I’m seriously studying something art related, so everything I’ve done so far was just a hobby. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil properly (I must have been 3-4 years old), and never stopped. I’ve started to think about an art career when I was 15, unfortunately too late for an Italian student to change studies and move to an art school. I should have chosen it before, but along with my future career uncertainties, came my parents’ disapproval. So I’m mostly a self-taught art student. Everything I’ve learnt, i did it in my spare time (not so much in the last few years due to school’s tests an exams, which had the priority of course.)
At 16, I’ve started to learn something about digital art: I got a tablet (I spent a year trying to colour with a mouse and that was enough!) and digital drawing software and started practising with it. Only in recent years I’ve started to use Photoshop, but I know I still have to learn a lot, although my level isn’t so bad. You can say my favourite tools are digital ones, but i still prefer paper and pencil for sketching.
My main source of inspiration is nature, animals in particular. I’ve been drawing them since I was very young, and they’re still my favourite subjects!
I also love photography, but i just wish I had a good camera and that i could stand still without shaking every time!

I have been checking out many of your posts and i can state pretty good stuff. I will surely bookmark your blog.
